How much work is it for my company to get started?

We know you're already really busy operating your existing business. We make rental integration as easy as possible. After partnering we will handle everything needed to launch your website, incorporating your feedback along the way.

How long will it take for my rental program to go live?

It will typically take around 4 weeks to launch after we sign a formal partnership agreement with you. However, if you're looking to get up and running faster let's talk! Retailers with existing rental programs can launch faster since they can serve as the initial lenders in their new rental community.

How long will it take for my rental program to go live?

How much additional support overhead will my business have?

You will need to train your staff about your new rental program and how to direct renters / lenders to your new website. We are happy to provide resources and even a training session for this. We will also have a dedicated rental support phone number for your business where you can direct inquiries. We handle all other rental support from there.

I already have in-store rental. Do you all support this?

Yes we do! You can rent out your store's inventory through your new rental website alongside other lenders in your community. This actually makes it easier for you to get started with GeerGarage right away because we can seed your marketplace at launch with the inventory you already are renting.

What geographies are you available in?

Currently GeerGarage is only available to partner with US based businesses. We're growing fast though and plan to operate in additional geographies in the near future.

Where will my rental program be hosted?

We will launch a separate website for your rental program behind a domain of your choosing. We recommend something like this: https://rentals.<yourbusiness>.com

How does peer to peer rental through GeerGarage actually work?

Your rental website will collect rental & security deposit payments, fulfill rental orders by matching renters with available lenders in the community, connect each party to coordinate pickup / return, and pay out lenders (and you) at the end of the rental.

Our marketplace software has mastered the art of peer to peer rental by employing a proprietary matching technology to connect renters with available lenders. How do you handle liability and damage?

We get liability insurance for each retailer that we partner with to protect both the retailer and the lenders on their platform. We charge a security deposit for every rental to protect against damage. We keep the renter's credit card on file in case of loss or theft. If desired, we can offer damage coverage insurance to lenders on your platform for an additional fee.
